For restaurants

Sunday night,
you and the receipts.

You opened the restaurant to feed people. Not to spend Sunday evenings splitting Z-reports into three VAT rates with a calculator. Baslic does that part — so you can prep Monday's service, or just sleep.

Done
A typical week

You know this week. We rebuilt it.

Eight moments most restaurant owners would recognise blindfolded. On the right — the same week, but you actually have your weekend.

Without Baslic

The pile grows
  1. 22:18

Last cover paid. You print the Z-report.

  2. 22:47

Stuff it in the drawer with last week's.

  3. 23:30

Drive home. Eyes burning. Tomorrow you open for lunch.

  4. Tue 09:14

Email from your accountant: 'Did you remember the Z-reports?'

  5. Fri 16:00

You haven't. The pile has grown.

  6. Sun 19:30

Kitchen table. Calculator. Three columns: food, beer, service.

  7. Sun 22:14

    Email sent. Apologies attached.

  8. Mon 08:00

    Prep service. Repeat.

With Baslic

Your evening is yours
  1. 22:18

Last cover paid. You print the Z-report.

  2. 22:47

    Photo it. Send to receipts@linnea.baslic.com.

  3. 22:48

Done. Baslic splits food 13.5%, beer 25.5%, service 10%.

  4. Sun 19:30

    Watch the football. Sleep early.

Four lines instead of eight. Your accountant stops emailing. Your Sunday is yours again.

What Baslic actually does

Three things. All of them on your worst day.

Z-report mixed-rate, automatic.

Food 13.5%, alcohol 25.5%, service 10%, kids' menu 13.5%, takeaway packaging 25.5%. Up to 9 VAT codes on one report, split per line, posted with a ruleId.

Photo it. We do the rest.

Forward by email or snap a photo from your phone. JPG, PDF, HEIC — even crumpled, low-light, smudged. We parse it in seconds.

Your accountant stops chasing you.

Give them a 6-character code and the cockpit shows them what's in, what's missing, what's ready to file. You get your evenings back.

In your words
“My Z-report has food at 13.5% and beer at 25.5%. Every month I split it manually.
Whoever fixes that owns me.”

— Mika, 41, Helsinki. The restaurant owner we built this for.

FAQ

What restaurant owners ask first.

The three questions we get every week. Want a longer answer? Email ozdemir@baslic.com.

Does it work with my Z-report printer (Verifone, PAX, Bambora)?+

Yes. Most Finnish POS Z-reports print as a structured receipt or PDF email. Photo or email forward — Baslic parses both. If your POS exports daily summaries, even better.

My accountant uses Procountor. Can Baslic post directly?+

Yes. Procountor, Netvisor, e-conomic, plus CSV/SAF-T for anything else. Your accountant gets one weekly file, pre-classified, ready to import.

What about tips and gift cards — do those mess up the VAT split?+

No. Tips are handled separately (no VAT). Gift card sales recognise VAT at redemption, not purchase. We've encoded these as Verohallinto rules with ruleIds your accountant can verify.
