Baslic is built by three people at Fidanet Solution Oy in Espoo. Small enough that a tax question reaches whoever decided how the engine answers it, and nothing gets handed down a queue.

He runs product. Seventeen years in electronics retail taught him where a working day actually goes: Media Markt, then Samsung, where he led regional sales and ran the nationwide training platform. Then he founded his own company in Finland and the bookkeeping was suddenly his. Baslic is the answer he wanted that month, and he decides what it builds next.
Co-founder & CTO
He writes the software and keeps the machines under it running. For twenty years he did both at the same desk: systems in PHP, Python and TypeScript, and under them the Linux and Windows servers, firewalls and backups they stand on. In Denmark he ran the IT for dental clinics, where an hour of downtime costs somebody a whole afternoon. Baslic is built to be dull because the person writing it knows what breaks at three in the morning.
CFO
A banker before a CFO: corporate credit at Citibank and Denizbank, then the department that deals with loans after they go bad. He has read the books of companies in trouble and audited the ones that were not, and he studied law alongside business administration. He sets our numbers, our prices and the discipline behind both. When Baslic gets a rule wrong, he is the one who notices.

Our first sales hire. Until now every customer was won by the founders, in the evening, after the day’s building work. Once this seat is filled it is somebody’s actual job. Two products, two motions, and a playbook nobody has written yet.
