Quarterly VAT
shouldn't turn you into a ghost.
You picked freelancing for the freedom. Not for the two evenings every quarter where you become a hostage to your own receipts. Forward, tag, file. €14.90 / mo. That's the whole pitch.

90 days. Three minutes total. Filed.
The 11pm Day-89 panic isn't a personality trait. It's a workflow problem. Here's the workflow we built to make quarterly ALV stop existing as a thing you dread.
Without Baslic · ~6h of dread
Day 1–88
Life is fine. You're shooting / coding / designing. The drawer fills with receipts.
Day 89
Tomorrow is the deadline. You remember. The drawer. Oh no.
11pm
Dig through email, Photos app, glove compartment, that Notion page.
1am
Manually calculate VAT. Second-guess every line. Which ones were deductible again?
3am
Submit. Sleep. Wake up wondering if you missed something.
With Baslic · 20 minutes, sober
All quarter
Forward each receipt to receipts@sini.baslic.com. Takes 4 seconds.
Day 89 · 19:00
Open Baslic. Everything pre-classified, deductibles tagged.
Day 89 · 19:20
Review, export, file. The evening is yours.
That's it. The deadline becomes a 20-minute task instead of an existential crisis.
Three small things that change everything.
HEIC, JPG, PDF — even from your iPhone.
No more 'this file format isn't supported.' Snap a receipt at the till, AirDrop a PDF, forward an email — Baslic eats them all.
Deductibility flags, automatic.
Coffee with a client → 50% deductible (Verohallinto rule, ALV § 114). Your phone bill → 100%. Lunch alone → 0%. We tag every line.
Reverse-charge for EU clients, sorted.
Invoice a client in Berlin? 0% VAT + reverse-charge note auto-added once VIES validates. Your toiminimi doesn't break a sweat.
€14.90 / mo. Less than a Helsinki lunch.
Unlimited receipts, full Timo, EU VIES validation, all Nordic bookkeeping exports, tax-deductibility flags. Yearly billing drops it to €12.40 / mo.
“Quarterly VAT filing turns me into a ghost for two evenings.
If something can do this for €15 / month, take my money.”

What freelancers ask before they trial.
I don't have an accountant. Can I file myself with Baslic?+
Yes. Solo Pro exports a clean PDF + CSV ready to upload to MyTax for quarterly ALV declaration. You don't need an accountant — though we'll happily introduce you to one if you outgrow self-filing.
What counts as deductible for a toiminimi? Does Baslic know?+
Yes. We've encoded the common Verohallinto rules: phone bills, office supplies, business travel, software, client meals (50%), team meals (100%). Every flag carries a ruleId — if you ever get asked, you can show your work.
I invoice an EU client. What does Baslic do?+
VIES validates their VAT ID live, adds the reverse-charge note to your invoice, marks it 0% VAT, and stores the proof. The same workflow whether you're invoicing a Berlin agency or a freelance designer in Lisbon.
Can I import a year of historical receipts?+
Yes. Drag-and-drop bulk import accepts JPG, PNG, PDF, HEIC, CSV. We'll classify in the background; usually done in under an hour for a full year of solo receipts.
Stop being a ghost.
Forward your first receipt before lunch. File this quarter in 20 minutes. €14.90 / mo when you're ready — free until then.
